Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 2026. Clear, transparent protection for your biometric images and personal privacy.
✓ Zero Image Storage
Your photos are never written to disk, databases, or cloud buckets. Once processed, they are cleared immediately from memory.
✓ Private In-Browser
Manual cropping, tilting, zooming, and color corrections happen directly in your browser without transmitting image data.
✓ No Biometric Profiles
We do not create facial recognition templates, identity profiles, or share face coordinates with any third parties or advertisers.
1. Information We Do Not Collect
EasyPassPhoto is built upon a fundamental architectural commitment: we do not harvest, store, or monetize your images or personal biometric markers.
- We do not save your uploaded or captured photos to persistent storage (no disk writes, no Amazon S3 buckets, no permanent files).
- We do not build or retain facial identification profiles, mathematical face prints, or identity graphs.
- We do not sell, rent, or distribute any user information or uploaded imagery to third parties, brokers, or training databases.
2. How Photo Processing Works
To give you high-resolution, compliant passport photos, processing takes place through two coordinated methods:
Client-Side Browser Execution
Image scaling, two-finger tilt rotation, pinch zoom, frame composition, contrast adjustment, and canvas rendering execute directly inside your web browser’s JavaScript engine. You can even disconnect your device from the internet while adjusting your photo.
Ephemeral In-Memory Server Processing
When you request automated background removal or 300 DPI multi-photo print sheets, your image is securely transmitted over 256-bit SSL encrypted HTTPS to our processing backend. The image is held exclusively in volatile RAM during the fraction of a second needed to compute the matte or render the printable sheet, and the memory buffer is immediately dereferenced and destroyed upon response delivery.
3. Camera & Hardware Permissions
When you select the "Take Photo" feature, your browser requests permission to access your webcam or mobile camera.
This video feed is streamed directly to a private HTML5 canvas in your active browser session. Video frames are never recorded, monitored, or transmitted to any server until you explicitly click the "Take Snapshot" button. You can revoke camera permissions at any time through your browser's site settings.
4. Payment Processing (Paddle)
If you purchase an optional Print Pack ($2.99), payment transactions are handled entirely by Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record and a certified PCI Service Provider Level 1.
EasyPassPhoto never sees, transmits, or stores your credit card number, CVV code, or banking information. Paddle provides us only with an encrypted transaction identifier and payment status to unlock your download package.
